SUPPLIES NEEDED: Students may bring their own carving tools for detail work.
Come ride the shave horse! In this class we will use a traditional bowyer’s shave horse to work a greenwood staff into a treasured conversation piece. Using a combination of draw knives, chisels, and gouges, we will explore the uses of this time proven clamping system and the tools that make it sing. You may register for additional days of use of the shave horses throughout the week.
The shave horse and draw knives will be provided and can be purchased after the class, if desired.
